Yes it is a Dodge Cherger and as it happens I'm looking to import one myself .

I think the car in the film Blade is either a 1968 or 1969 Charger R/T

The fact it sounds as if its beafed up is because the Charger R/T comes with either a 440c.i or 426c.i engine, to me or you thats a 7liter V8 nocking out arounf 400hp which makes a hell of alot of noise :D

It wont be cheap to import something like this and also finding someone with knowlege to work on it and supply spares wont be easy, and thats even if you do find a good example worth importing .

Also the same car but a later year can be seen in the film "The fast and furious" this is a 1970 (my favorite) and its supercharged to the extent of the intake and part of the compressor sticking through the bonnet :D

Just remember those 7ltr engine's guzzler about a gallon every 10-15 miles you drive :(

I didn't think the blade car looked anything like a Charger.

The Charger was the car used in the classic Steve McQueen film Bullit. Compare the cars in these two films if you can.
The charger has more of a low slung sleekish look to it compared to the stocky hard cut look of the car in Blade - beefed up or no.

To be honest I thought it looked far more like a Mustang mach1 racer...

Still they say it was a '68 Charger so there you go :|

personally i prefer the Dodge Challenger to the Charger.. far more practical size for our roads but still a great muscle car... many people would argue that it was the last great muscle car....
