Scripting a bot...

Ok i dont know much about scripting and i aint really an irc junkie (excuse the expression), BUT i was wondering if there was an easy way i could make my on bot or if someone would be kind enough to make one for me!?!?
Basically just want one in our irc room, to act as a welcome bot, games and all those fun things :P Anyone have any idea's?

A bot is a big thing to code. You want a quick mircScript bot, or a 'proper' one ?

The first time I configured an eggdrop, it took me 3 days, and was full of holes after that time, had to get a mate to check it all for me. But they are well commented, and very robust bots. Try a search on good under "eggdrop", and "windrop" if you want to run it under that OS. I've also been told good things about winbots (httP://www.winbot.co.uk) though I've never tried one.

If you decide to go for an eggdrop, I'd be happy to check over your config once you are done, or answer any questions.
