I can't seem to get onto irc anymore - it keeps disconnecting me straight away due to 'flood clones'. I don't understand what this means :{ Is there anything I can do about it - or do I just have to wait some more and try again later?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Too many people on your connection are on the same IRC server. More than 5 and you get a 1 hour kickban. This is common at uni's where loads of people are on one T1 line.

you could use a bouncer to connect to irc, im sure mgm can set you up one using his elite skillz
