/me looks around for signs of life!
nope, seems not!
...and to answer your question...
I quite like the ITV F1 coverage, although it has lost something since Murray is no longer commentating :(
I really like Martin's grid walk, getting in the drivers faces ;)
Martins Grid Walk is pretty good. prob the best bit of the pre race. Some of the other pre race stuff does get pretty bad. The after race analysis is always lacking in time, often failing to deliver what they promise before the break.
And the commercial breaks, they certainly are a bit inconsistent in their slots. You lways get 40-40 mins pre race without a single advert, race comes on, you get some 5 mins apart.

I couldn't agree more about the adverts, but after three years of ITV F1, I suppose that I have just got used to the adverts. Maybe ITV should have 30 minutes of adverts before the race, and leave the race uninterupted, or maybe that's being a little too optimistic.
Be nice if they left a small screen in the top right so you can still have half a clue about what your missing live.
It's obvious we've got to live with adverts, but they could do a bit better with spacing them out.
Certainly more after race analysis time is needed. They should pinch 15 mins of what they dedicate to showing Panis cooking and the rest of the crap and stick it on at the end.

To be honest I dont watch the after race analysis anyway, usually visit the ITV-F1 website to find out all of the latest info and gossip. I tune in 15mins before the race, watch the grid walk and the race, then switch off.
But I agree that most of the 'features' pre-race are completely unrelated to the race itself. Who really wants to watch Panis, or anyone else cooking on a formula one program. If you wanted to watch cooking, you would watch "ready, steady, cook", or some equally bad cooking show.
