Got BF1942 but when ever I try to play it I get an error message saying "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
Specs are;
AMD Athlon 1800+
256 DDR-SDRAM
64mb Geforce 4
As far as I know everything is up to date.
it is, and it's bugging me. happened with GTA3.
could be, I'll have a little look ( room has no light coming in :/ ) think that was the prob in GTA3, not 100% sure though.

Insert CD?
knackered cd drive?
its what happened to me, picked up a 54X drive for 20 quid.
Aye
If you have 2 drives like DVD Drive and then a CD-RW Drive it might be looking at the wrong Drive
Happened to me the other day i shoved it in the other drive and then came to play it another time and shoved it into the normal drive i use and it went 'ONO WHERE SI TEH CD YUO MONG :/'
uhm to fixing it uhm *wanders off*
I Just reboooooted meh comp one day and it worked :D
It looks in the drive you installed it from first, but mines fine in any of mine. Maybe you have the wrong CD (Need Disc 1 to play, and not Disc 2) in the drive.
Some drives have problems with SafeDisc authentication. If necessary you can bypass it, but that's not for these forums.
I have an old 32x Reader and a LG Re-Writer and I can shove a disk in any drive and It'll happily play. :D

The official technical support* offered on this is as follows:
1. Get a large hammer
2. Hit it
*This may not be the truth

Mmmm baby.
It's only a matter of time.

Damn right.
Though in my experience ticket touts for Reading Festival don't accept them as currency. ;(

Touts are l0se anyway... just like reading. Leeds is the way to go :D

Pfft... although the same acts are on you always hear Reading being touted as THE festival rather than Leeds. :)
Excluding Glastonbury obviously. :D

thats cos people are scared to come up north cos of the possibilities that they'll be in the loos when they get blown up (which didn't happen this year :P)

To be honest, personally I have no preference between the two, aside from that fact that I live 45 minute walk away from the Reading Festival site. ;)

Meaning you can run off to use something that isn't from the middle ages that's supposed to be a toilet.
