This the one? (http://www.skinbase.org/section.php?sections=winstep)
Nah, thats a WindowBlinds skin.
Its CopperDeck by Treetog. Look on www.wincustomize.com for the entire suite.
If you're gonna use that skin, get hold of the Inevitable wallpaper from www.artofgregmartin.com, it looks fantastic.
Here are my most recent three:

I really don't like alternate shells, they get very messy.. and I just use command line anyway ;o
Still, you may have a look (warning 1280 res for you 14 inchers ;D)

yay desktop thread is alive again \o/
am i allowed to link to BW here? aww who cares.. do it anyway :E
http://forums.barrysworld.com/showthread.php?threadid=13239
i been tracking BW ones since the beginning.
anyways... transparent start bar - can do in win2k? if so how?
and how u get them stats figues in the corners?
raaarr ta
The program that makes my start bar transparent is WindowFX 2 from Stardock. It does that plus a whole ton of fancy stuff and is available as part of the Object Desktop suite which includes WindowBlinds, IconPackager and lots of other stuff
Its good :)
WindowBlinds made my system as stable as Windows 95 ;/
Possibly running multiple shell addons isn't a good idea.

Hey Norphy, those pictures from www.artofgregmartin.com are really cool. How did you get them as wallpapers?
It works perfectly for me, when using Windows XP its un-noticable.
It won't work well under 9x or ME but under an NT system (XP, 2k) its fine.
On the Art of Greg Martin site theres a section called the vault where the wallpapers are available at various sizes, just download em and set them as the wallpaper. If you're not using XP you'll either have to convert them to bitmaps or enable the active desktop. Frankly, I'd do the former.

ffs moron, read what you bloody well post

Hmm, any particular reason your recycle bin is called "Roskakori"?
Or is it for sheer non-existant comedy guffaws?

how can you make pictures of a printscreen of your desktop?
I've heard with ACDSee but didn't find how
Um
Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (next to F12), open up your favourite paint package and press CTRL+V
Amazing :)
Here is my current one, nothing exciting but it'll do :)
Big file, bloody big image (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/norphy/desktop-new.jpg)

I've heard your trick works with photoshop and other paint programs
but you can't do it that way with ACDSee
can someone help me?
if ACDSee can open up bitmap images and save them as jpegs then just use Norphy's trick in MS Paint to capture the screen and save and open in another program that can shrink the huge file size that bitmaps come with.

ah that I didn't think of the normal MS paint...
I had to resize it but here it is :)
