Hi. I was just wondering if there were any requirements that had to be met before a person could DJ for your wonderful radio station (it is actually very good, i spent ages today listening to DJ Arach), and if there were any particular programs that were needed to do this. I ask this because, if at all possible, i might be interested in doing a brief bit of DJ-ing, if you want me to that is.

Lo m8 :)

Hehe were currently on the look out for DJs :) Requirements? Very few tbh.

First up, you have to have ISDN+ as 56k u will find it hard to stream at the required bit rate we broadcast at :)

Second, It would be best if u had a wide range of music :), we do have our own catagories but for example I do "Punk/Rock/Dance" oh and an extrensive collection of MP3s :). 200 MP3s just wont do :( but 400+ will as long as its a selection of different tunes :D

hehe if you have it a mic, then it would be ace if you could use it during your sets, must have a good attitude and lasty must be willing to contribute to everything show up for booked shows etc etc

Cheers

Most of those things are okay. I am on a 512k broadband serive (would that be enough?), but i only have roughly between 150 and 200 mp3s, mostly due to restrictions put in place by parents as they dont want the hard drive full of music. Plus they are all af roughly the same type of music. If you want i could do you up a playlist, so you could have a look.
