Need a cool demo!

I want some cool demos to show off the capabilities of my graphics card (Asus GF4 Ti4200 128mb DDR).

I've run 3D Mark, and a few old ones like VIP2 by Popsy and Lapsus style ones, but I'm after some new ones that will take advantage of the newer cards.

Most of the stuff I see on the demo scene sites are at least a year old, surely there must be some cool new ones about?

Played Midnight GT lastnight, wow, the reflections and lens flares look damn cool, and I had a GF4 440mx before this, I honestly didn't think there would be much difference.

Dunno about those kind of demos, though the CD that came with my ASUS had some very nice stuff, in particular this warewolf one with fur effects which was damn nice I thought. The nvidia site has a bunch of stuff on it too doesn't it?

Speaking of games it would be well worth your while checking out http://www.vietcong-game.com/ I think, Wildthing and myself have been playing this a few evenings and it's the best sneaking around type multiplayer action I have had - Op Flashpoint included.

I'll never get tired of pimping The Product (http://www.theproduct.de). Ok, so it's not what you're looking for regarding showing off the top notch graphics, but it does look rather cool, the music is good, and the whole thing is 64k. Win!

yus yus The Product was cool, still is as far as being 64k, but it does call on system API's quite heavily, so it's not 100% self contained, but hey, who cares :)

I had that within a week of the party, and was emailling it about willy nilly.

Will have a look at the viet cong thing, is it free like american army? Are they using it to train more gooks?

I just haven't got the willpower to play games anymore. Most FPS go clan based, if you play opens you get muppets, and I haven't got the time to devote to clans anymore.

Racing games usually bore me to tears because you have to complete stages, tweak stuff etc to get anywhere.

I like games that you can do what you like in for 30 mins or so, and just have a laugh racing, blasting, or whatever.

Possibly now Midnight GT
Mutant Storm (shareware weird kinda shootemup damn cool)

But.. I do plug my PC into the TV with a video sender, and playing some cool demos with cool music on is good for chilling out with the TV on one side, and the monitor on the other, and sound coming out of the tv, stereo, and pc speakers.

Yeah kinda, its top sneaking around forest action, different game types like CTF etc. Since it is still in beta there are one or funny little cheats that people can perform but I've not personally had a game spoiled through it - yet.

Worth a look anyway, about 90mb download with the the patch.
