Hihi,

i'm trying to format but.......

why when i go into dos is it saying my d: is my c: and not even finding my c: :( Its done it b4 and i got round it SOMEHOW, not thati remember now but even then that was after deleting my 'files' HD much to meh annoyance.

plzzzzzzz help and does anyone know if PC world sell those ickle IDE clip things, that set master and slave on the back of devices.

ta in advance, hopefully :(

your C on a raid controller etc and you need a driver to see it?

Right PC World do sell those little clip things, I bought 2 the other day :D

If your booting off a DOS/Win98/ME Bootup Disk or something, its prolly created a Virtual Disk (RAM DRIVE)

You can get a bootdisk without all that sh1te yet generic CD-ROM drivers from here (http://www.mirrors.org/archived_software/www.bootdisk.com/winfiles/boot98sc.exe)

would help to know which OS u r using luvva ;)
as for the ickle IDE things ,check ya mobo et al for spare ones

copy d:\*.* c:\*.*

reboot

then you have install your CD drivers off a floppy

good luck it's a pain ! :)
