For those that use EAX and hate the water effect

Bluppie just told me how to disable the water effect, I just tested it and it works perfectly!
Lob this into a .cfg file and the exec it from autoexec.cfg (or just shove it in autoexec.cfg

room_off 1

i thought the underwater sound effects were pretty good as well. You not supposed to be able hear underwater as normal ffs :P Sound haxors

Underwater effects were cool, but very bassy. So the whole house knew when I went for a swim :E

Anyone else dissaspointed with the clarity of teh surround sound effects though? More often that not people seem to be coming from above or below me, I can't for example tell which entrance ppl will come into from SD2 T or monkey T because they both sound pretty similar. THe only side to side variation I get is from about 90degrees :/

Front/behind are both very defined but left/right less so - still good tho :)
