tut! No-one asked him about the ladder logo being used by Gameplay still, or if Wireplay will continue to associate with that symbol/have the right to use it...

the logo will continue to be used at present as part of our licensing deal. There are no current plans to change it.

Hello

I hope you don't have a life, because associating yourself with us lot means all our moans and gripes go direct to you. ;)

wow, what a *messy* start ;)

I'm glad wireplays going to continue though would have been nice if it had gone to a company that at a top level wanted to devote time and money to it - rather than leave it to a few staff to work on it on a part time basis and the community to do more of the work - which the company can then reap the benefits of in the longer term....

Having said that, a GSP with greater control for the CL's is something many of us have been after for ages so maybe some taking advantage of the CL's by firstnet could be a good thing...

Perhaps one of the things that can be done though is get these forums updated to the latest version, get some more of the options turned on - and hopefully things like the swear filter turned off (firstnet going down the family route of the gamer route? :E) and get the community growing on here and the servers...

and for a random thought... Firstnet host for gameplay (the good part :) ) last time I looked - as they're a client of yours why not approach them and try and get the association back with the shop. That association (the shop & gsp) was one of the few good things that came out of the whole PLC fiasco :)

First things first though - Monday get all the people at firstnet who'll be working on wireplay registered on these forums and properly introduce yourselfs! :)

Amen to that, there was so much lost potential in that tie-in though. The ability of Gameplay to hurl fistfulls of cash at white-elephant projects while ignoring the really simple basic things that could have given the company a steady foundation was shocking.

Another observation where I think these GSP type people go horribly wrong and that is trying to support far far too many communities at once, instead of having a few core communities than adding things in slowly once they are established.

Good time to lose a lot of the dead wood guys, you have in other ways which has impressed me I have to say and there is no reason to stop there :)
