05:53 ¢ error (Closing Link: Mr_Meeker by barrysworld1.uk.quakenet.org (K-lined))
that is the message i get, dont know about proxies myself and i dont see why ive been banned because i havent changed any internet settings or put a firewall on my computer lately.
anybody think they can help me?
hmm
if you've read that quakenet page given and you're sure you dont have anything on there that might make you get klined then the best thing to do is email info@quakenet.org asking for help; alternatively post on the quakenet forums at www.quakenet.org

i looked on there a quite a few times, after a few tries i managed to send an email asking to be unbanned and my ip etc so hopefully that will work or ill get some help
According to there open proxy details you had these running on your pc
GLINE-ID 127013
The following open Proxies were found on your IP:
SOCKS4-Proxy on Port 1080
SOCKS5-Proxy on Port 1080
HTTP-Proxy that supports the CONNECT-Command on Port 6588
You sure your not using any proxy/socks software? :E

i dont think so because ive had no problem until now, never installed anything myself to do with that.
ive never had any problem till now, got any idea how i can sort it?
OK - First thing to establish is are you using a network?
if the answer is yes; check wether a proxy is running such as socks4 or socks5. If they are; you need to configure them for local access only.

right, earlier i managed to get onto irc using an internet site that has been made for you to connect through internet explorer.
somebody in my clan room said get a firewall called sygate personal pro and that will sort my problem, so i did and then they dissapeared somewhere to play cs, just wondering if anybody has any idea how to configure it to make irc work?
