I was talking to Vamp about various problems with the Q2 servers before me net connection completly died on me last night ( hopefully a temp thing 2nd time its happened in 2 weeks ).

Theres some major and minor stuff that needs to be tweaked on the servers. K2K and the DM server were the ones I only really had time to check so far, due to the above.

Q2admin is completely screwed up, as some files have been updated and others not. Example the Q2admin motd file has been as it reads 1.20, the dll is still 1.26 when it should be 1.31, plus the q2admin version still reads 1.17, so those files havent been updated.

The DM server, minor thing but you better change that Lfire MOTD, as at the best thats sloppy as it should read Wireplay and not what it does at the moment :E

On a general Q2 note: I still think its an extremely BAD idea running the Q2ace dll as the SEVERSIDE dll. The Q2ace peeps dont recommend using the Q2ace dll to run servers from. I suppose there could be conflicts anyway along the line if you were using an older version of Q2ace anyway.

Use one of the "rcon exploit fixed" dlls instead, theres enough places to get one from or even someone like M.Miner would be willing to pass one on I'm sure.
