View Full Version : What HotOrNot will do for yah!
Lol - like most of you here, i'm a member of the l33t HorOrNot.com - I started using the Meet Me part of it ages ago and this very nice girl double-matched with me.. Unfortunatly we're both non-starred members..
So, being a gentleman, i signed up as a 1 star member and started talking to her on Monday.. Its now Friday morning and i've just stopped talking to her about 10 minutes ago.. We've shared pictures (man she has a lot of nice pictures), she's got my home address and is posting me some more stuff today (might arrive some time in 2 weks :D) and I've had a few text messages off her too..
Shes only 17 though - neither or us should (under its policy) be on that site.. Still we're not using it any more.. She uses her webcam on Yahoo Messenger (which i specially downloaded to see her) while I tease her with my Scottish Accent.. (She's American..)
Say what you will about the Americans, thier into love in a big way - and she's already talking about coming out to see me here sometime.. She seems to have an amazing personality - and unlike many of the people in Meet Me she is very good looking..
Just thought i'd share with you what the Internet can do for your love life :P (There is life after your ex-girlfriend after-all!)

Oh come on.
You could at least link us to the pics of the both of you.
I'm not risking losing this one :D
A guy in my school (I didn't know him, but i've heard teh story and its true..) met this girl on the net about two years ago and eventually - when they were both 18 - he went to America and met her.. He proceeded to bring her back with him and he liked her a lot.. Unfortunatly while in Scotland she fell in love with his best mate and to prevent her from having to go back to the US his best mate married her..
The moral of that story is that i'll be saying no :P

Hurray for #1! :p1mp:
Well good luck :)
However, long distance relationships are meant to be hard. Lond distance net relationships I can only imagine are even harder.
The Americans must love cheucters :P

Now that is harsh
Lol this isn't a relationship :D
I'm just trying to explain how easy it would be - if I had the money - to fly out and meat this girl and start a relationship, if I wanted.. Unfortunatly our personalities clash a fair bit ;)
Still, it was harsh of that guy from my school - especially after spending what must have been over £500 on flying out to meet her plus accommodation, food etc :D

1. PEOPLE lie, women are generally just better at it because men tend to want to believe what women have to say because we're gullible morons ho think exclusively with our cocks.
Having said that, my missus is an appalling liar...
2. Well, duh.
So in short, two excellent points by Vortex.
