seen a few people who i thought were officials now posting like their staff, and seen a new few people who could be staff registering and posting.
anychance of a list of whos who?
even better would be if those that are staff, actually introduce themselves...

This is not the official or complete list. We are still compiling that, and all information will be avaliable on the Web when it's put together.
But for starters:

Like I said there are more, as well as DCL's and head admins etc etc, but you can have that list when we put it online.
i think reality's talking about the firstnet staff. ;)
yeah, i've noticed qube (or something like that) and pigwhistler we all know and one more person i think....but, that's about it...anymore?

Well I heard that Firstnet were planning on trying to run Firstnet with just the one part-time staff member - which is flipping nuts - but lets see how it goes ;)

There are a few more and i'll prompt them to come and introduce themselves.
While it is true that both me and qube will do the majority of server and community liaising work, we do have a lot of backroom firstnet guys working on infrastructure while not being wireplay staff as such.
You should also be thanking your community leaders who are doing their damnedest to ensure you are getting what you need. They will have a lot more power and responsibility thrust upon them over the coming months as we seek to improve wireplay.
Anyway,
Hi, I'm Pigwhistler
My role as a wireplay staff member is to shape the wireplay product - what we host, the forums, the community, the ISP (when it happens). I will be generally overseeing things and prodding people to get things moving. I will also be heavily involved in setting up the servers and getting the web-site sorted.
Anyway - i'll get the others to come post something so you can see there are more than just the two of us! Please note though that for everyone who will be a part of wireplay's staffing structure, there are many people in the back rooms working on the network etc.
Don't like the name, it gives the impression you're a 14 year old CS admin whos become so endeared with his new found power hes changed his forum name :) I prefered PigWhistler myself.
If you put some racing games up I'd consider playing here again.

Can I suggest FN Staff are promptly set up with user titles that identify them as being staff...
Indeed, it will help no end figuring out if they are really working for Firstnet or if it's someone taking the p*ss :)

It was decided by myself and Razz (and others pitched in opinions too at the time) that moderators would stick with "Moderator" unless they were officials in some other capacity.
I think this was sparked by Minxxy's custom moderator title :)

I hear rumours that Firstnet haven't actually purchased the source for any of the Wireplay software, just the right to use the compiled executables.
Would anyone care to comment on whether there is truth in this, and if so, how do you propose to develop further the product as is?
AFAIK the Wireplay Client is being updated by ArenaTek under contract?
Don't quote me on that though.
