So I start playing Freelancer at about 9pm last night, and the next thing I know it's 3am :(

Freelancer > Me.

I need to buy this, might go see if it's at Wal-Mart in a few minutes.

Well I spend around 15 hours d/l it on my ickle 56k but I am impressed. Good fun and the gfx are sweet.

Kinda get miffed with people saying the same crap over and over to me though.

"You're new here yes?"

"Well we don't run this place but we have a large stake in what goes on"

Yeah that was pretty much the only gripe I could find, the semi-repetitive dialogue.

Quick fact: you know who is the voice to Trent? Ian Ziering, who was that fuzzy-haired bloke on Beverly Hills 90210.

You can skip all that unimportant talking ****e by hitting escape. It'll take you straight to the rumour/job offer. Same with landing/launching your craft on a planet. Saves a few seconds and works online too.

You can also tick the "don't play non-important story movies" it saves sooooo much time, you won't need to hit escape then :)
