Just wanted to take the chance to ask some nigling questions i have about t-maps.

1) First of all what is the highest level map u can find?

2) What sort of spawns are normaly found on high level maps ( eg: are there balron spawns, dragon spawns)

3) And lastly do treasure chests decay while u are tring to kill the spawns? If they do how long do you get?

Thanks for any advice you can give

Actually I'm wondering if the treasure maps work at all right now. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to dig up a deciphered level 1 T-map with no success. I have over 70 in mining and using UOAM I'm positive I'm in the right area. Just for fun what is the correct combination of items and commands to dig up a T-Chest? I've tried two different ways - Double-clicking my pick axe and then the ground or double-clicking the pick axe and then the map, the first tells me to try mining in rock and the second tells me that I cannot mine that. Some of my maps are old but I did the deciphering myself so that shouldn't be an issue. I also was going to try and buy a shovel thinking that might make a difference but neither the blacksmiths or the provisioners sell them.

OK, I might have answers to some of these problems.
Firstly Torque, the highest I've deciphered is level 4 (they go to level 5) and what spawned was daemonsm Liches and I think some elementals (not too sure). If you've got a level 5 scroll, I might be able to decipher it for you.

Enoryt you have to use a shovel to dig up the treasure. You can buy one from the Tinker in Britian, its up behind the bank.

double click the shovel, target the map, stand on the relavent tile

level 5 maps spawn balrons, daemons, blood and poison elementals, liche lords. i did one yesterday that spawned 3 balrons :(

the chest does decay but i think u have a couple hours

You said stand on the relevant tile. Do you have to stand directly on that tile or does your mining give you an increased range?? I also have a T-map where the pin got cleared on accident?! Will it still work or is it useless now?

Thank You

Use the shovel, this will bring up a targeting icon, select the map. You have to be standing on the tile if you have 0% mining but with 70% I think you can be up to 2 tiles away, GM mining is 5 tiles.

If the maps are the same as OSI maps, you can find a table that will give you the exact coordinates to any map you have. Then you can stand directly on the square. You don't have to have any mining to have a t-hunter if these maps have not been altered from the OSI default.

The treasure hutning system is totaly cusom to LothLorien and none of the locations are on the OSI Databases ;)
