Can everyone tell us their thoughts/comments on the new banners?

Also if you have suggestions for any other banners (gaming related :E) that you would like to see on there let us know

I don't know what it is about them, but they look wrong for banner adverts - I don't think it's they look amateur, it might be they don't look amateur enough ;)

Also they aren't fitting into the banner area properly.

Yeah, they've never fitted, looks a bit queer, but I'm exceptionally good at ignoring adverts.

just saw the UT iCTF one...and uhhh...let's just say it looks rather odd as it seems someone is taking a big pee which is red coloured from just outside of the banner. :P

and the lightning in the ut2k3 bombing run needs to be spruced up....not enough oomph.

just out of interest but you've got copyright permission for all the images you're using ?

I do quite like the banners though, something abit different.

CP isn't needed unless the original authors have stated that images from the contents of games etc. can't be used. If they were that bothered they'd rip down every single fan site and game-related site out there...

several ex-gameplay marketing gurus are rolling in their graves at the sight of some of the flagrant branding laxness. Off colours, blurry.

If youre wondering why theyre in their graves, its coz i burried 'em, ****ing PR tossers.

Banners are inherently lose, and these are as such. Least its not popup or random stuff you arent interested I guess.

look at it this way, they're wireplay banners at the wireplay forum page linking you to the games wireplay webpages.
