Ok, the world of freelancer is taking off and there are some mods kicking around, if you see a good one, tell us and we will look into it for the server.

I think we should make a "freedom" mod. Object being to give more freedom to players.

Allow them to buy more ships, such as the large transports etc.

As well as increasing the engine speed, because fighting is so dull at normal speed. Even with after burners on full.

Plus I want a Nomad ship with Nomad lasers :D

Or even one of the large Battleships, they'd be cool to fly :D
A Wireplay mod, now that'd be sweet, mwahahaha, and yeah, the in game speed would be nicer if the boost was at at least 300 and the super jet speed was at about 600.

Could certainly do with one that changes the market prices , according to supply / demand or just something so you dont predicatably just level by going back and forth and back and forth to the same place???

Woo hoo.

Just dl'd the Viper and Cylon ship models from Battlestar Galactica. If this works for me I'm hoping that some bright spark will decide to change one of the larger spacestations into the Galactica itself (even if doing that does crash the game).

Changing the pricing due to supply and demand would just be fustraiting.

Flying across the galaxy to find that you no longer get a good price and have to search the entire place out again to find a fairly good one.

It would be down to luck if you struck one that wanted it.

Its one of the things that made Elite such a great game to play. You weren't sure if the cargo run you were on would net you a big profit. Prices never drastically changed, they just went up and down a little which made things a bit more interesting.

tbh the way the game is atm its boreing as fook
you get your cash and then thats it .
its even worse when you know exactly where and what to get and do

something that will add some kind of mix to the game would be good
