Bought 2 dye-kits from a player-vendor.

You can use them only once and contain a special ( rare? ) color.. Like ''gold'' or whatever...

Dye Kits ( not dye bottles) allow GM tailors to turn 5 of any rare ore into a coloured single use dye bottle of that colour. For example 5 Arcanium ore would make a one use Arcanium coloured dye bottle for use on cothes or hair.

They only work on clothes :(

I'm actually glad they don't work on hair. Rather strange to have people in armor walking around with neon hair.

They do work on hair, use the dye bottle on your status bar and it will colour your hair that colour.

Since the good IronFire has graced us with his input on this string, perhaps he will answer a question for me now? How about some damn skin creme to change the hue of your skin. That would be great!

That would have to be scripted as maybe an alchemy pot, but at the moment we dont have the resources to do that as we are trying to get the RunUO server completed for launch.

Exactly where on the status bar?? It keeps telling me that I can only dye cloth. :confused: I've tried the big status bar and the little status bar and just about everywhere on those status bars with no action. Also, how can you dye the character's main inventory backpack?? It says that I can't dye anything locked down??? :confused:
