Okay before we begin, I'd like to make it clear that I do not want the latest mobile phone with all the great features. This isn't what I want at all.

I'm on T-Mobile... have been ever since buying a phone for £20 second hand. I want to keep the SIM card and network, I just want a different handset because my current one is knackered. The "0" button doesn't work half the time and the back keeps falling off.

So, I'm looking for the cheapest way of getting a new T-Mobile pay as you go shell, basically. Now why couldn't I have said that from the start...?

For you sir, in exchange for one useless piece of paper (£20) I can offer you the latest in communication technology! (Tin can and string)

No?

Sorry, I'm not gonna be helpful ;(

You're not going to get a brand new handset for less than about £80, phone manufacturers have massively reduces the subsidies on new phones now.

Have you thought about looking on ebay?

My advice would be to stop being such a tight-pocketed tart.

Blow your dough on something stupid but not totally up-to-the-minute, grip on to the 6 month contract hoping not to go bust and then ring your network provider kicking off something rotten about how other companies offer a particular area better.

Hold out, then get a decent up to the minute free phone for nowt.
Then again that'll only be advantageous if you actually use your phone lots. If not, use a c**ting phone box you cheap skate :p1mp:

What you really want is one of them new phones that can not only organise your entire life, whilst being small enough to fit in your top pocket, but they can do the washing, cook your meals, and go out and get a job so you don't have to.

Oh, hang on a minute. They havent released them yet, they're just being advertised all over the place.

Get a cheap Nokia that can work on both GSM Networks (GSM9000 & GSM1800) like the Nokia 3210, 6110, 6210, 3310, 3330, etc.., get it unlocked, Rah.

New phone, on T-Mobile.

'Nuff said.

If you decide to spend some money on a phone, go and get a nice Nokia Series 40 phone. That way you can download all the spinkee games that I make :D

Depends what phone you already have, if you've got one of the brick Motorola's, then ignore this, but if you have an old Nokia series, you'll probably be able to part-ex it at any t-mobile shop.

I picked up a T68i for free last year, but I am on contract. It's pretty good, although can lag when your trying to display the dancing banana on it....
