Does Anyone Remember Forsaken ???

The Wireplay dialler was my first ever online gaming experience. The dialler came on a CD with a game called Forsaken, by Acclaim.

In those days I used to kick about online with MikeyBaby, Slugger, Organ1cs, Solaris, EatMyTitan, Advisor, DaSampla, Leady, F14fxer, Craigys, Parzival, Venom, Yintas, Thy Nemesis, and a host of others...

If you recognise any of these names, or you are one of those who managed to clock up £300+ phone bills playing online (at 1p per minute too!!) then I'd live to hear from ya...

I used to play TFC back in the day. Most I racked up was just short of £400 for one quarter.

Thank god those painful days are behind us.

i used to play duke nukem 3d back in 1996 - 1998


though i never ran up any large bills

my dad was very strict one how much time i spent on wireplay(lucky for me really as a big phone bill would = instant death :P)

Looked gorgeous and somehow ran on all the pcs back then...havent found a copy anywhere today but i bet it'll still look just as good today.

I still got me copy of Forsaken, although I had a few problems running it on the latest grafix card and drivers....I think the msn gaming zone still provide Forsaken servers to play on, although i aint checked in a few months.

You're right, the graphics completely pwned for the PC specs that were out in those days, I think mine was a 400mhz which was one of the latest around :P
