Something strange happened to me today. I was fooling around with the pks near the bridge as usual. I just escaped 2 PKs after a horrible attack on me. I went back to the bridge again (which had a field there so I had to recall into town) and suddenly I got teleported to the other side! I was teleported to infront of that tower looking building (warriors guild on most shards) there was 5-10 pks standing right there and they beat the living crap out of me! I'd like to know how i got teleported to where all those pks just happened to be standing. I swear what I said happened and I'd really love to know what the hell is going on.

I wouldn't have any idea actually
perhaps there was a portal at the exact spot where you teleported to in town

right... you might have clicked the wrong circle thing in yer rune book... (if you have that rune in your runebook)... ive done that many times :(... but luckly i dont die to reds;) :duel:

I don't have a rune book and there was no portal, I've never even had a rune to that location

right... the only thing else i could think of is you where out of town... still... and you tried to recall but having 5 - 10 pks on you (unlikly but we know how they love to gank :)) you would fizzle most the spells you would cast... my theory is they fizzled your recall/you fizzled your own recall and must have been mad lag or something but you just ended up dieing infront of that tower thingy

That isn't possible, I wasn't lagging at all I usually don't...lol Nook thinks I speed hack. I wasn't even trying to recall at the time and theres no way I could get to that side of the bidge. Do any GMs have anything to say about this matter??

simple as that, i saw it myself.

if this is leading down the road that I think it is, judging by some of the other strings on the boards this evening, I would say that some changes should be made. I have some stories of being screwed by an outside force, but I will keep them to myself for the time being. I will just say that there is indeed a faint smell of PIG....

Right I have duly looked into the matter to resolve this issue.

First of all Lantz you where breaking the shard rules by using the GuardZone to insta log out during PVP on Britain Bridge to avoid being killed. This is in the rules and is illegal, the punishment for doing this is to be logged back in exacterly where you where so that PVP can continue.

In this instance you where constantly breaking the rule and insta logging in PVP. Other players paged about your actions and GM Squall came to watch you watch you doing it. He then moved you outside of the Guardzone where you where killed by the PK's. This was Incorrect and he should not have done this. You should have just been logged back in in the same area and same status as you logged off in.

I have spoken to the GM concerned and he apolagises for this, and I am now changing the rules to make it easier for the staff to enforce. You will no longer be logged back in for PVP but jailed for 48 hours if found insta logging to avoid Death due to PVP in either a Guild war or on the edge of the GZ battle.

When did I log out during battle?! I logged out during battle one time and it wasn't even the same date and Squall took care of the matter when I did it then.
