RunUO BETA Testers required ! [Archive] - Wireplay Community Forums

We will be looking for around 25 BETA testers to help play on the world and report any bugs that they find as we create it and make it ready for eveyone to play on. You will be playing in the world as we create it around you so don't expect wonders to start with.

If you wish to put your name down as a BETA tester post here with your name, account name and a 30 word line on why we should chose you.

Only current lothlorien players may be beta testers.

Posting does not make you a BETA tester, you have to be chosen.

Any BETA tester not found reportng bugs will have there account on RunUO and Sphere suspended permnenterly.

The BETA testing will begin either Wednesday or Thursday this week, you will be contacted via IRC ( so leave your nick) or if you do not use IRC often please leave your e-mail addy in your post.

i am amazing. been on osi for ages. played runuo since beta 15 so no loads. i dont hate staff so i will be nice. i like to live in the trees. i have brown hair. blue eyes. about 6 foot tall. just a stunner. ex staff um can keep going but its pretty boring

Erm, id like to be a beta tester because ive done beta testing for several other games. I play Ultima Online and i can be commited to finding all those nasty bugs 'n' ****. Also id like to do it cause it sounds like a lot of fun.

I think i would be good to beta test for runUO because i am loyal to the shard (been her bought half a year)... I also am very active and now that i got my uo working I will be on more... im active on irc and forums as well.... and as you know me.... i dont like bugs :(

I have been playing loth since loth 1 and i have experience GM'ing, I used to script for sphere and i found lots of bugs. Even on loth today i find lots of bugs and report just no one ever listens to me. I hope i can help out as i said... im good at findin bugs.

iv played on osi for 5 years, and loth since october, i have gm, counceler expiereance and play loth quit alot. i will obviously report bugs, as i want loth to be teh best :p

i'v been playing uo for close to 3 years, i've managed my own shard for a while. i've played with solan on obsidian, kalmiria, anglefire

i understand somewhat how the UO engine works, and i often can find bugs, with a bit of screwing around

Ive been ( well; still am ) scripting for RunUO; so I know what could possibly go wrong with scripts ( you just dont want to know how much Ive been yelling at the timers :o )

And erm; today is my last exam; so I have plenty free time ( vacation; Mmmm ) to test ;)

I've tested numerous rpgs and games for a start, I did osi for a bit then moved on to loth (cause its free and wireplay!), that and ive got nothing else to do atm so i can spend an inhuman amount of hours playing :P

Im Mortious i would like to be a beta tester so that i have some reason for exsistance.

I played loth from the begining and i care. And i feel the same as the post above me and the post above that. I aint gonna write the same as them. Finding bugs is fun. I often spend many hours in my garden in training for this event. Hopefully i can put my trainging to good use

I've played countless shards, so I have a good idea of what annoys players the most bugwise. I'm also a GM smith so I can concentrate primarily on smoothing out crafting bugs.

Side note: I know you may want experienced beta testers, however, how can one gain experience without getting started. I am very willing to learn as much as I can about anything that anyone is willing to teach me.

Seriously though, I think I would be a good beta tester because I've been on loth longer than most (all?) of the staff :naughty:...

K SERIOUSLY seriously, I would be good because Ive been here since Loth's birth, and I know alot about UO. Plus I goofed around on some other runUO servers so I have a bit of a feel for it. Plus I want to find bugs because I worked damn hard for my stuff and I dont want some lamer to cheat his way to the top.

Next on my to do list: Learn what 30 words means.

i would like to offer my services for testing. why? because, frankly, im very good at finding bugs. not only bugs but loopholes as well. and i hate watching idiots and jackasses gm skills with little or no effort. so i would gladly find and report possible bugs.

ive played uo for awhile now, mostly sphere. but since back when it was TUS. played many a shard, found many a bug. played a few runuo shards so i have the basic gist of it. and plus, i have nothing but time on my hands.
