I have been very fortunate in getting 2 sponsor's for our LAN
Lanway [ www.lanway.co.uk ]the suppliers of our pc's have generously given up £50 of high street vouchers to use as a prize

gameplay [ www.gameplay.co.uk ] have sent us a shed load of tee shirts game demo's and watches to give away as prizes :)
and will also do a deal for us on pre-ordering half-life II £24.99 for anyone at the LAN so see me for that :D
a BIG thank-you to them both!!!!

we are now going to offer £50 [cash] as the first prize in the BHD head to head.
£30 of vouchers to the second place leaving £20 of vouchers for small secondary prizes through out the day {we'll make something up as we go just like this :D }

kick off is 10:30 Saturday the 9th
bring drinks and food as the canteen is closed
you don't need to bring cat5 cables we will be providing the network as it stands :)
2x32 port hubs we you don't need to bring cat5 cables we will be providing the network as it stands :)
we can also provide 14 monitors

I will also be providing everyone with a pass to get in and out of the room as there is a computer fair on at the same time

umfg, there are a lot of peeps living in this area; a fellow tfc'er from llanderfel, another from cerrig, there's me from llangollen, a load of -Ti- from coedpoeth, some CS'ers from ruthin (where I work BTW) and 2 UT brothers from corwen

I wish I heard about this sooner, but didn't think we had a WP LAN section, especially one so nearby TBH - I've been having thought's about a LLANLAN in the eisteddofod pavillion, but it's over a grand and a bit for a weekend :/
