Weekly War

Would anybody be up for having a War once a week, maybe get 16 players, split the groups into 2 and then meet up once a week for a war.

I've not thought about the day or time, but the rules would be,

Meet up at a location, form into 2 fleets, then fight untill only 1 side remains, No running away is allowed, no respawning and then rejoining the battle, once your dead thats it.

Other than that anything goes.

when you played last night was it all vs all or did you split into 2 fleets?

if you have fleet battles all you have to do is create a group. then shoot at whoever is white on your list.

i was thinking, we could have these battles in Alaska, teh reason being, it only has 2 bases in it, 1 is dockable (but theres nothing in it), there are no NPc's there, none spawn, this is a good thing because we wont get tonnes of ships spawning in teh middle of our battles, there for we wont have to fight them off we wont get lag, or drop fps because of them.

What ya all think of that? ;)

Excellent war tonight. My first war, and I'm shocked that I lasted long enough to make it to last 2, let alone manage to fluke a win out of it.

Great dogfights, lots of class plyrs, think there were 11 based on the prize @ 5.5mil.

In the end came down to me and ICU, having lost all weapons, fighting it out with Torps. LoL.

Trick had us die to reset weapons and fight it out fully loaded, and I got lucky enough to get a kill on ICU (nearly had me but I just managed to pull thru)

I will have to make sure Im available next weekend to see if I can keep the title (slim chance, but who knows in this game)

Maybe could set up a leader board for winners (and feeling over-confident after my win) number of consecutive wins.
