View Full Version : Your TNG public server has died

I have a few questions for you too answer
1. Why is there no mention of the Freelancer TNG server on the main page in any of your server lists.
2. Why is there no mention of the Wierplay Public Freelancer server in any of the server lists on the main page.
3.When was the last time someone checked the links on the main page as you have the last news item from 2002 has nothing happened this year.
4. You also have in your upcomming games section prized gems like Total anhialation and Age of Empires. I think its time you updated those . :)

We had some problems recently but it should be back up and runing again :D

We are currently in the process of redeveloping the main Wireplay web site.

We are planning to switch over this week, but due to other events this may be put back.

Your server has crashed again can you sort it please, it looks like its been down for at least 12 hours.

its being worked on m8, from what i know, 1 of the top Wireplay staff was working on it last night not long afer it went down, im sure it will be back online ASAP.

...yer it was unresponsive @ 11:34am Tuesday.

Still if its running a MS OS you got to expect some downtime :eek:

Never mind folks, im sure they will put the system back up as soon as they can.

Ok this is getting repetitive now and annoying once again the server is down, its the second day I have woke up to find it has died, can I make a suggestion it may stop the crashes it might not,
turn off the cheat detection see if that makes a difference as I was wondering is it possible for a mod to be 100% compatable with the original game when all the ships and guns are changed.

actually, disabling teh anti cheat would proberly make teh crashing more frequent, if ppl came on teh server wiht other mods enabled it would crash, i mean like ship mods or weapon mods..not to mention mods that give u invaunrable shield. Even if they didnt crash the server it would leave us open to cheating twats :frown:

The cheat protection is built into the mod, we cannot and wouldnt want to disable it as it would cause some bad problems.

Tricky have you got the costume changer modules activated on your server as someitmes when a client logs in with one of the costume changes activated if its not running on your server it can crash your server.
