Which HL2 rumours are to be believed?

There are quite a few rumours surrounding HL2 and I was wondering if anyyone knew if any of them are genuine?

So far I've heard;

The release date has slipped to October/ November
HL2 will have no multiplayer, that will be an add on (e.g CS/TFC etc)
There will be 4 ways to buy it - 3 retail packages, one single player box, one single + multiplayer box, 1 sp + mp + extras, or alternatively bought for a £10pm subscription via Steam.
The multiplayer will be a MMORPG.
The mods will only be playable via Steam for a subscription fee.
If there are multiple retails versions, wtf have I ordered from Gameplay?? :P

I was hoping someone here (*cough* CT) was close enough to Gameplay to ask them, or knew someone who could. But then rumours can be good for sales...

Which if any of those are true or not I don't know. Anyone got any concrete information (no 'hilarious' links to pictures of cement please :P ).

AHHHHH. WTF why do they have to be bloody t**t0rs fs. why cant they do stuff the way its normally done how god damn retarded. people want to but hl2 and download the mods fs. not ass about with subscriptions and different versions of the software. how god damn rediculous
