More of the same really, not that thats a bad thing. I enjoyed it certainly.

I think the sabre staff was the best personally although the others had their merits :)

Just played it and it looks like I'll be buying it when it's out :) More lightsabre swashbuckling as per JK2 which can't be bad.

One issue is the system needed to run it. I've got a P4 3GHZ, 1024MB DDDR RAM, 64MB DDR Geforce 3, and it doesn't half chug a bit at 800x600 with no FSAA

I know my graphics card isn't the best, but even so it does seem to need a fairly beefy system to run it decently.

What the hell Tonster?

That has to be your Graphics card, with that setu you should have no problem playing it

Indeed

I have a similar system except with 512MB DDR and a Ti4400 and its as smooth as silk at 1280x1024

So probably graphics card intensive from this deduction... :E

When my girlfriend despairs at me for buying more games, I shall point her in your direction as the culprit :skull:

Hmm, just seen the review for this in PC Gamer and it confirms some of my fears about the game. About 2/3rds of the levels you're just fighting regular guys with guns. The AI is as poor as I'd feared, with enemies simply not moving when you shoot them. Try it on the demo, go to the second mission and use the pistol from a distance on the dark jedi that don't use sabres. They simply do not move until they are dead, they don't react at all.

Bad guys don't ever seek cover, and most of the 'good' force powers are a waste of time.

Lots of faults listed, it only gets 70%, which is essentially a very poor game :(

dunno why ur game was running so slow Tonster ive got an Athlon 2800 a 64meg GF3 plus 1gig of ddr 2700 had it in 1025 x 768 and had no problems what so ever

aye. the PCG review isn't too favourable... as for the force power upgrade thing, that sounds like the one back in JK1 (when it was the sequel to Dark Forces and not a game in its own right) where I always ended up as a dark jedi cos the light powers were no fun.

TBH I aint played the demo as I cba downloading it so I aint really able to make up my own judgements... may do that later.

Tru the light force powers at this time seem '****e' but I'm preying they fix em ;) :P

PC Zone gave it a very favourable review, 85% iirc

Granted is much of the same but it seems ok to me. On the second level, whenever I tried to shoot an unarmed dark jedi they always ducked or jumped. I saw no problem there :)

Try using the basic pistol you get from a distance (ie when they haven't noticed you). They won't react to being shot.
