Downtime [Archive] - Wireplay Community Forums

The downtime on early this morning was not planned as far as we know. Some game servers are currently not running, but should hopefully be back up when the server admins for those games get out of bed and start them :P

We will try and find out what caused this downtime and let everyone know as soon as possible.

Appologies for the downtime and inconvenience it may have caused anyone.

They are still coming in thick and fast. I've had to delete my mail box off my server for the night to try and get them to bounce back.

Theres a few game servers down and the ftp server is also down. They should be back up by the afternoon.

PSU failure caused downtime. Stuff should be back or coming back shortly.

The WPCGR Servers are still down (and have been for a few days) any idea when they will be back and operational?

Some game servers are back online as Vamps said. Although a lot is still offline.

I expect they are restoring them in waves to check everything is coping ok. I couldn't give you a time frame though, we were hoping it would all be up by this morning.

Again, sorry about the continued delays.

thanks dash - yes we were restoring them in waves to check power fluctuations etc. Been a lot of work on the way the power is fed to the servers now and the problem should not rear its head again. Any servers left off at moment are due to problems caused by outage and i'll sort them tomorrow.

on site now after being stuck in traffic - grrrr. Going to get some stuff sorted before i pop on IRC so i do get stuff done instead of spend all my time gassing :p

Shard will be back tomorrow afternoon sorry - at different building today but i've rebuilt the box ready - needs to just be run up and a couple of fixes relating to the breakage on monday.

i dont no what surver im running but i live in oklahoma usa and im still down and been down for quite a wile is it cuz surver or cuz i need to redownload files or what
