I'm quite new to these forums and I hope I am not perceived as anything other than just over-enthusiastic by you regulars.

From observation, the poor old XBox doesn't seem to be popular.

Surely someone here other than me has an XBox - and to that end, possibly also uses the XBox Live gaming service?

Basically, I know a lot of people whom I play XBox Live games with/against them regularly - most of these guys are from other forums - and often forum versus forum matches are mentioned.

So any of you fellas interested in something like this then please pop into the XBox forum down there to (a) keep me company and (b) see if we can get some gaming organised.

:naughty:

I saw in the news about the PS/2 now being classed as a computer and not a console, does an XBox fall under that category?

I said that the PS2 was a computer from the day it was announced; or something.

A console is a gaming machine.

A gaming machine doesn't allow you to surf the net, or watch films, or run Linux, etc.

I would say the PS2 is more a small home entertainment unit. Doing games, DVD's etc.

SK, best start spamming the BY X-Box forum and start pointing 'em this way.

Life would be so much better on the console forums if the admins would just combine the lot of them.

How many times have I suggested that? ****ing dozens. But no, still they're left to stagnate.

God, I have so many great ideas of things I could do with an amalgamated Console Gaming forum.

The XBox forum over at BYGames was quite popular to be honest.

I am not sure what is happening with the Blueyonder XBox community - it's quite an active community with a community website and regular on-line meets - the closure of BYGames came at the wrong time for this community (not that there is a right time) and the shortish notice doesn't leave them a lot of time to sort something else out - I have suggested they move over here of course but it's not up to me.

And BuZZard - second word is off :x
