TNG upgrade

Hi i was wondering if the tng upgrade will still allow me to go on severs that are pure ( no player mods allowed ) as i downloaded it but am unsure whether to install it.......Help!

Yeah you can, just make sure you have turned off the TNG mod using the Freelancer Mod Manager when you play on pure servers.

Here's a brief overview of Freelancer: The Next Generation Expansion features:

57 New ships (6 Battleships, 6 Cruisers, 4 Gunboats, 9 Freighters, 12 Heavy, 11 Medium, 9 Light)
Over 250 new weapons
Over 35 new shields
5 Hull Armor Upgrades
5 Power Plant Upgrades
4 Tractor Beam Upgrades
4 Scanner Upgrades
Identity choices (Be a bounty hunter, pirate, trader, smuggler, or freelancer!)
Nexus system (4 bases, massive fleets, random shadow spawns, plus much more!)

The only thing you have to be carefull of is when switching mods on and off, sometimes files get left over (FLMM aint perfect).

So you may have to do a fresh install from time to time.

Get the mod from HERE (http://www.planetirg.net/index.php) ,although their download section is down at the moment so you may have to wait a couple of days.
