Well, I shure don't know if this is the right place to post this so if I'm wrong please move/delete this, thanks :)

There is currently a project going on to remake the epic game Chrono Trigger, in full 3d with many extra features. The project will be made in the Unreal2k3 engin and will offer online play and minigames too.

The project so far is going well but we have a severe lack of model, texture and UT2k3 artist. We really need anyone who could help, we know that there are alot of Chrono Trigger fans out there so we ask for your help. We also have the new game compeny Pixel Image Productions backing us so we can get site help pretty easy.

So if you think you can help in this fun project please head over to our forums at http://spectralwars.planetaclix.pt/ .

Thanks for any help :)

You'd better do a ****ing immaculate job. Chrono Trigger is amongst the 'holy' RPGs - trifling with it is near blasphemy.

Good luck, then.

what pcm said...you have the mechanics and items and stats in place thanks to the original game...get it wrong and frankly everyone is going to slaughter you.

starting with me! :P

Good luck btw.

Btw - you change the music and i will personally hunt you down with the rainbow. ;)

If it isent amazing, don't worry, we'll kill ourselfs for you. We are compleat chrono freaks, you know what we are talking about, playing all the endings 3 times through ect lol. We love the game with a passion so thats why we are taking our time, we plan to have it done in 2005 for the 10th anaversey. We are going to make it very true to the game, but at the same time we are going to add things, like extra minigames ect.

Oh and the music, we are going to have some really good musicians on the group like Krispy, we are going to use the 1999 high quality soundtrack plus some Overclocked remixs. On the site we will have a sample of chronos room music soon, yeah we have music just for his room that we dont use over and over ;).

We plan to have the bike race done by christmas, and trust me, its gonna be alot of fun.

oooooo.....i'll have to buy ut2k3 just for this mod. ;)

giz a buzz here if you need beta testers. :D

and oh, when you mean the high quality ost you mean the cd release or the psx re-relase of chrono trigger?

The CD ones and the PSX ones, we are going to use as many resourses as possable.

Well hopefully we will be able to get a ut2k3 licence to this so that people can download the standalone, but we are dreaming about that right now.

Yeah, no prob, you'll be a beta tester.

Playing Chrono Trigger in Japanese on the Super Famicom back in the day remains one of my fondest gaming experiences.

Remember - You needn't add anything. Do a decent job.

Well along the way we are going to add extra weapons/items and minigames bacacuse by the general feel people would prefear to have new things, even if they are very small to get that sort of "Hey, that sword wasen't there before, cool".

But we won't let this stuff distract us, we are going to focus very hard on the game at hand. For example just about an hour ago TheBrain showd me a tree plugin for 3DSMAX that has amazing looking trees swaying in the wind, and he made a whole custome set of them for the milenial fair.

Any texture artists out there? Anyone who cna operate ut2k3 Ed? Any Maxers that are skilled with models and spell-like effects out there? We need you! Our current guys are really stressed with so much work, we need a bigger team.

Sounds like a cool idea, like many things though I doubt it'll get to launch. Loved the version on the ps1, played it for hours.

I'd be interested in being a beta tester too, though depending on how much time that takes up I'm not sure as I've never had the privaledge ;D
