Looks like a game I'd have liked... used to love strategy games, just never get time to play them anymore :(

Finally getting round to working my way through HW2. It is pretty, but it's nowhere near as easy as HW1 or Cataclysm. I'm making progress but it's always getting through by the skin of my teeth.

My main approach at the moment is loads of bombers and loads of gunship corvettes (although the pulsar corvettes are fun to watch). The frigates seem to have tissue-paper thin armour and never last more than two minutes.

i found that torpedo frigates can be very devastating, but if they go anywhere near the destroyers they get f*cked rather quickly :E

from what i've seen playing in the player vs cpu game most things get f*cked rather quickly by destroyers :D

pffft, i dont bother with destroyers! I just go straight for battlecruisers and hit their flagship :E

oh yeh btw i found a copy of homeworld 2 for cheaper than gameplay shop :( any chance of some "competitive prices? :P

shouldn't post it here! but i havent actually bought it yet (been borrowing a m8's copy as he has no pc atm :P ), so it price came down i would quite happily purchase it from gameplay.

I found it for £17.99 elsewhere online, find me in tpngc if u want to know where :)

It looks like theres some of you that are playing this game then, judging by the looks of the HW2 forum people aint interested anymore? Lets try and get this whole WP HW2 thing up and running, start posting in the forum lads :pimp: ;)
