What ever happened to Wireplay Poker and Cribbage?
I have just returned to Wireplay after, over,18 months away and yet I see that one of the most popular online games has been taken away from the play list. (Namely Poker)
I would urge the adminstrators of Wireplay to re-instate the majestic game and allow those of us who love to play to once again challenge the realms of luck (and, of course skil....;):) ).
See yu all soon in our local arena

Don't think that's been supported since the GP days. I recall it was a bigger community than any of the FPS games
Did it ever get into WP3 client? Can't remember now. Client is dead now anyway so no poker here I think.

Wonder if Phlash knows...he still seems to lurk around here now and then...
You could try scanning the archived forum, I just went for a peek and it has some links to potential "new" clients (reading "recent" threads about how it didn't make it to WP3). Not tried any as I am at work.
Soz guys - I can't remember who supplied the poker / cribbage games :( If anybody still has the client software it might be in the version info..

And as for no-one asking about the so-called "mindgames" section, try looking in the archive; you may surprise yourselves.
oops, sorry, Cust, that'll teach me for not reading posts fully.
:smurf:
Are these the original suppliers?

Are there any plans to have the Mindgames put back onto Wireplay?
By the way Breath... I may have the original poker, Backgammon and Criibage software somewhere.
If I find it I'll let you know.
Breath; yeah, they (Tower Software) supplied all the card games for the 2.x client, dunno about the board games.
If there is a possibilty of doing something about putting them on here, I would say do it. You'd get a big influx of players back from the purgatory of Yahoo! games.
We used to get Velevet-esque replies (read: sod-all), so hopefully this time we may get somewhere; although obviously I appreciate it may not be possible. :)
I think its about time we brought them back... dont you? :E
