Broken Sword III

I see this game is out (http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?ProductCode=RM00339) and it's one I've been looking forward to, but has anyone played it or seen any reviews for it?

I've seen a review for it, and its been liked so far

generally receiving high 80's I think it doesn't get more as its an adventure game

but they like the new style of the game and its says the story is rounded off nicely :)

Well I took the plunge on this one and it's fairly good. It's maybe a little easy for anyone who's played the likes of Day of the Tentacle as they've tried to make the genre a little more accessible. The 3D environments are nice, but the camera can be a bit weird. If you are facing down the screen you press down to move downwards, so far so good. But if you then move onto another screen which is say, viewed from the side, holding down will keep him moving in that direction (facing forwards, running either left or right). If you then let go and press down again you then move down in relation to that screen, which will make your player change direction. It's a bit weird.

The story is developing, I haven't got that far yet, but so far it's reasonably engrossing. The characters are fine and well voiced, though some of the pauses between speech ending and you actually being able to then move your character are annoying.

The interface is nice and simple but does everything you need so the screen is uncluttered.

So far it's alright, I'd give it maybe an 85% mark from what I've seen, though I've a long way to go.
