What AAO leagues would you like to play!

ATTENTION!
Ok gang my crew and myself responsible for setting up the new AAO league ladders. What I want to know is how you feel about sertain matches.

i.e. do we want to have a 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, 6v6, 8v8?

1v1 is all nice how ever did not work to well with WWGL (WorldWide Gamers League) as matches come around way to many times. Admins and moderators need to be there practcally all of the time because of silly disputes etc. And you can imagine for eg there are 200 players all wanting to play 1v1 it becaomes a bit of a toothache.

I would like to move quickly on this issue and would like some feedback from you all.

My personnal feelings are 2v2, 4v4 and 8v8.:P :)

4vs4 or 6vs6 is allways the best imo
and us all would be 3 atm :D

no point in 1v1's i think. However 2v2,4v4. 6v6 and 8v8's are always good and they should be done.

I agree, 1v1 is pointless and an absolute mare to administrate. 4v4 and up should really be the lowest we go. This would encourage clans to form and training to be done. This should create the AA environment that I think we are trying to acheive.

4v4 is fine with me, i mean i'm currently ranked 3'rd in 2v2. But it's all down too you and your teammates skill, alot of pressure :P

How about a league that you don't have fixed play dates on? If you wanna play someone in that league u just goto irc chan and ask if anyone wants to play a 4v4 or 6v6 open league. This would alos incease IRC activity in the games irc room, which currently only me and vamp idle in

Like a skirmish you mean. I see no problem with that at all mate. Be good for clans to have a good friendly banter before the actual fight that counts!!!

yea and will allow for matches to be played when players are online, meaning you not limited to 1 match a week because you don't have to spend a few days arranging dates n times.

How do you have for example a 4v4 which is arranged at random (whoever turns up at the right time) and keep any kind of score? Cos the "team" on the night isn't a permanent feature.

Or do you just keep track of individual stats?

i mean you all belong on a team, but instead of arranging a match you would just come to the irc channel and ask what team would like a 4v4? Then u play the match then? instead of arranging onew half way through the week

sounds like a good idea....and everyone gets a go more frequan tly if they arn't being able to play as much cos they may have too many clan members

Time for SAT to be all present and correct. Its time to sort the men from the boys. Lots of work to be done over the next few weeks. SAT are up for it and capable. Looking forward to the coming challenges.

yea we just gotta spread the news, about the wireplay servers, these forums and the irc channel. We need everyone's help to do this.

I agree, allthogh I do not spam channels and servers I make sure people know where I come from and what the servers that I play are ! The wireplay servers are obviously a first :)

i go with 4v4 and 6v6 they are the one i play the most.
i agree to as it helps later on having to inform less ppl and they will keep up to date whats been happening so they know whats going on and add any ideas to this helping out in a creative way.

2v2 4v4 6v6 8v8 That's what i like most.
Because 1v1 is just no fun it think. To big levels or wierd objectives when ur alone. Only thing u can do is mckenna, swamp raid. and maybe one or to others. so no 1v1 for me.
