Currently im powering through the maps with my now old, radeon 7500 ! I run my resolution at 1280x1024 on a 17inch flat screen and I have very few problems, HOWEVER, i will shortly be purchasing the Radeon 9800XT we are talking awesome graphics processing power and huge rendering capabilities. Ill also will be dual outputting to another moniter so I can see my TS server and MSN without interupting my favourite game, and I wont have to keep setting up my laptop to acomplish the same thing Howahhhhhhh ripper we need to talk bout your setup and config :) lets get you on the go properly :pimp:

I got a ATI based readon 9000 pro 128 MB. Its a good solid card. Never had any problems with it. In the future i will stick to readon. Nvidia is trouble and Gforce is a little too unstable for me.

I was refering to having dual screens so that i would be able to play the game and move people around in TS and talk in MSN on the same PC, currently I have to have my PC and laptop on at the same time to achieve the same thing :) howahhh :)

just incase you didn't know....ATI will be releasing th 9600 and 9800 with a free copy of HalfLife 2 when it's shiped over for us!!
HOOAH.....i want be buying one though as i already have a new one (GeForce 4, 5700 Ultra 128MB) which on the reviews has betten the 9600 and has some properties that beats the 9800 in speed etc.
so ill just buy the game seperate
well yea free copy of half-life 2 will be released if u buy certain copy's of the ATI model, I wanna buy one :D How ever the coupon they give u is only valid for a single player copy of the game and u will still have to pay for it if you want it for multiplayer.
Also review I read at the release of the card stated that the ATI 9800 XT 256 MB was the best card, over the Nvidia range

ok...now i've got the new card in (radeon 7200 64mb DDR-Vivo to- GeForce 4, ASYLUM 5700 Ultra 128MB).....what can i say..
....&^%"ing alsume......:P :P :P
i used to be playing with radeon all time....now i think Geforce is so much better......i can play the resolution with no lag in 1900 x 1600.....but i will ofcause play it in 1280x1024 otherwise eyes get messed and my monitor will break......in able to play SF hospital with highest everything, details, advance and in the .ini. files.....i am so impressed with it and perfectly satisfied....
...cool features:- give you the temp. of the GPU core, and the external core.....the fan on the card is keeping my whole computer even cooler.....GPU core temp=36 C, external temp.=
33 C :D :D :D
i must say that this truly is a powerfull graphics-card (as solo said in ts) as it runs ultra fast and smooth and ultra ace graphics in high settings with my quite old "AMD athlon processor, pentium 4....512MB ram"
let me know what you think please?:)

FX 5200 Geforce4 128 MB....Works fine wit the 21 in CRT
Best GFX card out atm is the Radio 9800 xt 256, thats what cow chris has got. This beats all the nvidia cards out in reviews, however these reviews where made when both sets of cards where new onto the market.
Now that both cards ranges have been out a while the companys will ahve been abel to tweak the gfx and performance through the release of better drivers. So it would be interesting to see a review between the two sets of cards now that they have had toime to work on the drivers.

I got an nvidia atm , only an old nvidia though. I would rather another nvidia over a Radion, for the mian fact I know that u will get a lot less bugs in aa with the nvidia.
Yea I have read that review on your card before, it's a very nice card, beating the radions in the benchmark tests

i've had the new card in my mqachine for a whille now and my views are that it has certaintly boosted the gaming quility and the experience.....still i get a bit of lag in the framerates in certain maps and with a server that holds 18 maximium players but this of cause is due to my slow AMD athlon 1GHz which i hope i can change soon, but unlikely:frown:
but apart from all those downfalls i am still glad i have this alsome card which has certaintly made me play better
:rolling: :bomb:  :skull:...............lol!HOOAH!!!!
I have a Ati Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder . Good Graphic Card
