Finally the time has come, LAN's are quickly approaching and I have been given the responsibility of designing and organising the manufacture of Wireplay's new polo shirt.
The design is almost identical to the last one, differing only from the lack of a sponsor due to copyright restrictions, and the introduction of the new font and colour scheme seen in the Wireplay logo.
When the polo shirts were ordered last time, including delivery they were priced at £25 including delivery, some of you thought this was expensive, which I do admit isn’t the cheapest price for a polo shirt, but I can guarantee that the quality of the polo shirts were fantastic and you can ask anyone who bought one last time they were no problems and no criticisms apart from some of the larger gamers who found them a bit snug.
The new shirts are priced the same as the last batch at £25 and will include a personal customisable name and position to be printed on the rear of the shirt, I will make this clear that no money is being made from the production of the shirts. The set-up charge for the polo shirts as they are using the same templates they used last time is £100, and the price of each individual shirt is £17. The total price of £25 for a polo shirt all depends on if we sell 20 or more overall. The more polo shirts we sell the less they will cost.
Here is the math.
Overall
=====
Set-up Charge = £100.00
20 x Polo Shirts @ £17.00 = £340.00
----------------------------------------------
Total = £440.00
Individual Cost
===========
Polo Shirt = £17.00
Set-up Charge £100.00 / 20 = £5
Delivery = £2
-----------------------------------------
Total = £25
As you can see if we sell more then 20 the £100 set-up will be spread over more people therefore lowering the cost overall.
And if you are worried about your shirt being to small for you there is an extra charge for each x you need after XL. £0.60p to be precise. So if you need XXXL then you will need to add £1.20 to your final price.
If you want to order one then please visit http://community.wireplay.co.uk/poloshirt.php where you can see the design and fill in an order form.
Any questions post them here, or email me at dk@wireplay.co.uk.
