PC or console?

When sticking this up I did wonder how many PC sports games are played compared to on consoles. The sports genre seems to do much better on console. I would guess it is because they so often play better as player v player.

So what sports games work on the PC?

The sports management ones are popular, e.g. footy manager games, but are they really sports games?

Never got into sports games meself. I wonder if it is cos I am a PC gamer rather than a console gamer?

Somehow getting four mates in front of a 17" screen with potentially widly differing control methods for each one just to get a game of FIFA going never seems to work very well. At least with a console you can have a big screen and can be reasonably confident that all the pads and stuff will be the same

Playing console games on the projector at my last LAN was a whole heap of fun :)

I play Pro Evolution Soccer 3 on my PC. But that would be impossible if I didn't have my PS2 to PC pad converter. :)
