Untold Tales awarded Hall of Fame status

i see MERP UTT1 has deservedly made its way into the Hall of Fame at Neverwinter Vault, congrats to Kev and company....

well done to everyone who has made this one of the most enjoyable servers i have played on...

and from reading the boards, it will only be getting better.

and this coming from a stalwart conservative as far as game worlds go, i always cringe when announcements are made that state things are going to change...i hate change, but in this case it looks as if the changes will be for the better, not the case on some servers i've played on. the changes to UTT2 look like they will be well thought out and done with a very professional manner, and most importantly, the dev team actually listen to the player base with regards to improvements/suggestions.

This is great news indeed. I'm really proud to see that mine and others work is appreciated by so many people. It is a great boost to me and encourages me to do even more.

The bigger boost though is to the NWN community here; this shows what a great community of players we have here - because at the end of the day, it is the people who make a persistent roleplay world community, not just the endless scripts, game systems and content we knock out.

The potential for MERP UK's future status and quality as a community shows enourmously in attaining the hall of fame;

We are the second Middle Earth based NWN community to enter the hall of fame. It took us just three months of NWN community exposure to attain this accolade, whilst the other community, Stormplay, had to weather 15+ months of very mixed exposure to get there. This just shows how MERP UK is now stepping up as the leading MERP NWN community out there.

With UTT2 now in full production and rapidly being put together in time for the new year, im confident that we will be offering the highest quality and most faithful to Tolkien, Middle Earth gameworld.
