tek issue- any help apreciated

Hi, since installing the new version of the cep and NWN, i have a major bug:
-anythime i use a store and check the miscelaneous items section, I crash.
-anytime i check a barrell's or a corpse inventory (excluding corpses of a slain creature), I crash.
-the items in my inventory's first tier remain randomly invisible displaying only about 5% of the items their.
-when i open some bags on the invewntorys first tier, I crash.

I have reinstalled NWN and the CEP from scratch. and the problem persists with any characters already made.
New characters seem exempt from the issue.
-My only remedy has been to load my inventorys first tier with blank scrolls as they are lightweight, so as nothing i pick up lands there, still i cant shop properly or look in barrells/corpses. (all other containers)
Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this annoying issue?

hmm. I had this problem for a short time once but i dont think it was in MERP UK. It was a CEP issue i think, or some other custom content.

Do yo have any items that are no longer supported. Hmm Im fishing a bit here. Sorry I cant be more help :(

Have you upgraded your graphic card drivers?
Maybe that helps.

maybe hes using an old version of direct X

thanks though, but none of the above, recent direct x, no updated graphics card (though it would be nice).
Quite right new Chars will be made shortly, and as I seem to be alone in this issue (Fassin you are the first I have met with who has encountered the same problem) It would seem of little worth folowing this discussion.

So i recomend the thread be closed.

PS- oops sry misread you shadow, no i havent updated the drivers, will try that idead thanks.
