View Full Version : new classes not available?!?!

When i lauch utt2 i can't see the new classes in my class-list when i create a new char.

this is very strange because i do have installed the patch and placed the .hak- and .tlk-files in their folders.

yesterday i even created a cep 1.5 module and added these files in the module-designer in order to have a peak on the new classes before utt2 goes online. everything worked. i can see them in the list and create e.g. an olog-hai (very very well done!).
but when i try the same on the server the ordinary class list appears (including the dragon disciple, champ. of torm and so...)

i have a german 1.64 nwn+sou+hotu+cep 1.5 version installed.

i can't choose the new cep-heads/-haircuts when creating a new char in utt2 neither. i thought they weren't supported yet on the old server, but now the should be, shouldn't they?

Please help, i need to play some of the new prestige classes soon.

(i'm leavin for work now, but i have a computer there. perhaps my replies wont come in very quick, but i'll be reading everything, thank you)

The reason for this I believe is that the module doesn't install, along with its hak pack until you've created a character and entered the module. When you first level up the new classes should be there, and available for use.

none of the prestige classes will be available in anycase with a new character. so whats yer hurry? :)

of course not fasin, but i want to make sure that i create a char that is compatible with the utt2-hak. because later i certainly want to choose some custom-content prestige class.

the next problem is that i can't choose a cep-head. today i logged in for 5 min and saw a dwarf with a cep-beard. so there seems to be a problem, because i can't choose that. i'm simply not compatible, still i can log in. i don't understand this.

might this have sth. to do with my germ. version? i could also install the english one, i think the language-files should be easily replacable.

somebody tell me: when you create a new char, the custom-content classes already show up in your list in pale grey, don't they?

I've just checked Dsan they don't show on character creation, as I said they won't show until you are actually fully in the module, the Hak doesn't load up until then.

You need some files for your override folder.

i guess implementing the custom portraits has also got something to do with this overwrite-folder?
