View Full Version : Isengard bugs?

A couple of things i've noticed about Isengard I feel should be considered for alteration.

The first is when going from the gap of rohan to the isengard map the start position from the area transition, at least for me, is always obscured by stone and it takes a while to orientate myself. Perhaps the facing on the transition can be reviewed?

The second one is when accepting the quest to get mithril for one of the shopkeepers in isengard tower itself whilst the quest is ongoing its not possible to access the shop since the shopkeeper insists in an extra bit of dialog which then snaps shut the shop store view.

Finally, I notice from the UTT 2 development forum that Isengard is viewed as being a level 8+ area. The cold drake blood is certainly doable with a small party of level 8+s, but the next quest for mithril certainly seems way beyond 8-10s. Good aligned players have rivendell as a source of level 8+ quests, Isengard doesn't seem to fit the evil equivalent. Is there a batch of level 8+ quests for evil players i'm missing?

A party of lev 8's 10's will find the Mith quest fine. If you 8-10 and solo, Its a differnt matter

Seconds what BW just said...

Done it myself with party of level 8 characters.. only three members too.. the whole way... well within reach..

Alone.. I wouldn't even contemplate it... what fool would dare to enter the depths of Moria alone... this place even Gandalf had a fear of...

Back again to people thinking they are super-heroes when in actual fact you are a short break above the average population... someone that decided the normal life didn't quite satisfy them...

Dont worry about the mithril quest, half the problem is not having done it before, the 3 of us were fumbling around and I suspect not looking where we should be and consequently got out of our depth :)

Anyway, I like to think the other points about the area transition orientation (seems to happen to me 1 in 4 times when i test it, but i guess it could be some graphic setting i have) and the shopkeeper dialog /store opening issue had some merit :)
