Whilst a linux ban system is added for us and adapted to the Wireplay bans database, I will be adopting an effective system to deal with problems.
- If you are effectively banned, your account will be deleted.
- If you cause a significant amount of trouble, your account will be 'suspended'. Basically I will move your account folder with all your characters from our server vault to my computer! I will hold onto it for at least a week, to upto a month. The player can still play, but will have to play new characters in the meantime.
So now we have a system that stops us having to wait till we have a ban/temp ban system in place. Keeps our honest players happy and saves us having to wate time with people muckingabout.
This system is working well, thanks to a voulenteer who posted a flame thread earlier. Thanks for that :) The account will be suspended for a week.
