Very quiet tonight. I know gamespy isnt working as it should.

Are many people having problems?

I had probs last night, crashed and had to try a few times to get back in to gamespy, even after doing a cold reboot. One other person also crashed from our party.

I also had plenty of problems last night.

Gamespy was down and I couldn't connect to any server through my history, favourites or even direct connection.

This by the way is the main reason there was no Arena last night.

On a lighter note I checked again this morning and could connect with no problem.

I find Im still able to connect when that happens.

I hit cancel when it says I cannot connect to gamespy. Then when the rooms come up I dubble click on the room and it takes about 30 seconds longer than normal but I get in. Sometimes it crashes and I have to restart the game from desktop and try again.

The server at bioware is up, so your problems are likely something different. Might I suggest a direct connect to the following IP: 195.224.41.15:5121

If that doesn't work, try doing a critical patch rebuild and perhaps a reinstallation of gamespy arcade. If that fails try the dreaded reinstall of the entire NWN program.

I often find that the critical rebuild patch worth doing every 3 or so months - shouldnt be needed, but it does help me personally.

I do all these things, and as I said above tried the direct connect - I tried every trick under the sun, it was Tuesday evening at around arena time this was happening to me.

Fortunately things are working again now - but that was damn odd that day.
