View Full Version : Iron Hills - Cave and other quests

Not sure if this is an area for a good aligned quest - since I dont play that faction to know, or if its a new area in the process of being tested and as such is incomplete, so with this caveat aside let me continue:

When I stumbled across this Mordor encampment there were no other players on and so the area I assume should have reset by the time I came across it.

However when I walked around it hardly any of the Mordor or Black Numeureon npcs / monsters had respawned, except for 3 outside and a champion of the eye inside (unless it hadnt been killed originally). As such you may wish to check the respawns of all the creatures in this area.

Additionally whilst I was in the iron hills I went to the abandoned dwarven mines - which I know to be a good aligned quest. It is worth noting that with the inclusion of grapple hooks in the game rogues of the evil faction can now bypass the locked gate, by using the ledge nearby. Bearing this in mind maybe a slight rearrangement of the terrain to prevent this bypassing...or perhaps have the entrance to the cave itself locked as well.

The quest tied in with Bard the bowman in lake town might be worth having the bard mention that the person who talked to him is not worthy of his time and they should come back when their reputation is greater. I mention this since I always thought the quest wasnt in. It wasnt till I spoke to Khaev in game that I found that its likely been in all this time and just isnt accessible unless you're of a particular level.

the denizens of the iron hills caves would not spawn for you as you are of the same faction i would imagine. the ones that were there had probably just slaughtered the last party to tackle them.
