I noticed the other day that my backstabs failed miserably against both the Dunlanders and the Barbarian Hillmen (one of the Forochel quests) despite no mention of them being immune in their descriptions?
Is this right?
Are they "beserk" or some such?
Not a whinge (don't feed me to the badgers ):emb:
Just an enquiry!
They shouldn't be. I can't see how its anything we've done.
All I can say is "How queer" and turn my gaze to bioware :)

Well buttons and barndoors!!!! I've noticed a few strange instances with regards to the sneak attacks too clone3;
1) if its a bit laggy they can "lag out" ; this was mainly noticed in the arena group event .. the character runs up behind someone who is hitting someone else, hit em, but do only normal damage
2) when a friendly mage scares the bejeezers out of enemies and they try to run home to mommy/wife/pub very often the sneaks fail to work ; again opponents are hit for normal damage but very very very few attacks rate as "sneak" on them ; my main char uses a bow and is pretty much used to gettin close, shooting em in the neck and running off, but i have tried it with melee weapons too and the sneaks still very very often dont materialise against scared poopless enemies.
You'll get used to it ; i think the sweating-in-fear state of the enemies (or their adrenalin rush) make the blows slide off the critical bits of their anatomy that we're aiming at. Or something.

Well after the re-set today, they appear to be working fine as I have stabbed many a hairy brute in the back. :)
In case of any lawsuits against clone.. I was a witness of all the backstabbings.:naughty:
