Stranded on Barrow

Playing in the Barrow Downs yesterday, on the upper level I walked past the doorway into the cave on the left, and couldn't make the character walk back out. Instead, I ended up on top of the barrows, with no way down. I walked around a while, took part in a fight below by shooting a crossbow, tried to quit and restart, but kept coming back to the barrow top. Eventually someone took pity on me, added me to a party going to Himling Isle and took ship from Tharbad....I magically joined them in Himling.

Those barrows exits are troublesome and ill have to do something different with the transitions.

If there was no DM available, good job on using your initiative :P
The Boat will do that. Once the PC with the quest speaks to the boat master, his entire party go with him.

Someone once advised "falling down" in order to get back up... make the toon fall when it is at a "dodgy point" and that may help too .. without the bother of trying to pretend a total stranger is a busom buddy that you have embarked on a week long voyage with :)

Ah, and then, of course, there are the merits of having your basic grapple on hand for just such contingencies...

Trista (fortunately for her) must not shop much at the Dol Guldor merchants. Ghashmog has never seen a grapple....on the other hand, he might not recognize one if he had it.
