Just for those wireplay guys who havent connected with the Air Attack community:
Air Ace is a multiplayer air combat game being designed with the help of the Air Attack community at www.airattack.co.uk
The reason for us making Air Ace in the first place, was because we wanted to create a *really* easy to get into, WW2 based air combat game. We wanted it to feel as easy to jump into as a FPS whilst maintaining the need for skill that you get in air combat games.
If you remember the old game Red Baron by sierra, then youre on the right train of thought.
Air Attack is (in the short time Ive been evaluating it), ALMOST perfect from the point of view of balancing skill and ease of use.
The UK Air Attack Club [AAC] are a great bunch of guys who are really helping out with the design efforts on the game by telling us more in depth about AA of old, whilst giving us feedback on ideas we have. We *WANT* to create a game that makes the old AA players feel like they did back in the days.
If we can match that same feel, whilst picking up some new players on the way, we have succeeded.
So please, if you are interested in Air combat games, get involved and help give feedback for the game. Join the AAC community and meet up with some great people and have fun!
